The  Printed  Voice

Company Overview:

The Printed Voice is an independent publishing company founded to support the creative process at the source—freeing writers to be imaginative as possible, and putting the money back to the creative source both with risktaking publishers and risktaking bookstores. In the current political climate, with the increasing consolidation of the media, it is urgent that voices be heard and not stifled by corporate conglomerates. It was the ability to freely express ideas that gave force to the revolutionaries who founded this country. Free voices speaking out against tyranny of all forms can help rescue our democracy today, before the ability to publish freely is shut out entirely.

The Printed Voice’s elegant solution to support independent creativity at three levels—the author, the independent publisher and the independent bookseller—creates a successful business model that can sustain change, and allow the voice of liberty to be heard.

The Printed Voice’s vision will break the stranglehold large corporate interests currently have on the book business, permitting a wider range of free expression and exchange of ideas. Ultimately it will promote the creation of informed citizens able to take responsibility for their government, rather than blind consumers numbed by artificial entertainment.
